TripMedic is a multilingual medical service providing in-language assistance for the million travellers, expats and immigrants who need care around the world each year. We bring comfort to people who get sick away from home. The recent Pandemic crisis has just demonstrated how a service like that can be really useful for people!  

Business Development is a key function at the heart of TripMedic.
This is why, We are looking for young talents with a desire to broaden their knowledge in a challenging Business Development position.
In this exciting role you will be uncovering opportunities by researching and developing outreach strategies to develop our Doctor's network in different international markets.  

One of the main tasks assigned to this position is to strategically recruit new Doctors, who speak different languages, in a specific city/country. Our doctors are carefully selected according to the TripMedic main plan and business goal.   

You will be asked to reach specific KPIs (e.g. number of doctors, specialties, prices) in line with the TripMedic quality standard and criteria, within a specific time frame. 

Moreover, during the Pandemic period we successfully launched a video consultation service, in order to guarantee medical assistance to our clients in such difficult time. You will have the responsibility to further exploit this service by proposing new possible strategies.

You will be properly trained by the Business Development Manager who will give you all the knowledge you need to start the recruitment process in a smooth, easy and professional way. Rest assured that you will not be only sufficiently challenged but pleased with the skill set gained during this experience.

Another important task will be the ability to further develop a trustworthy relationship with existing and new Doctors, aimed at strengthening the relation with TripMedic. This will allow you to gather a lot of information / insights to report to the team that you can use to propose a new strategy and prove your skills in this role! 

--> This role will give you lots of knowledge about Sales, Customer Understanding, and strong learning about the Business Development role. You will take part into the development of new business strategies!

--> A specific, measurable and reachable target to reach will be set accordingly to ensure you a valid and useful experience! You will be constantly trained and we will provide qualitative guidance to reflect your learning objectives every month.

--> In this position you will work as part of a team of 2 people reporting directly to the Business Development manager and communicating weekly with the Marketing and Customer care team to ensure a perfect strategy implementation. 

During your internship, you are assigned the following tasks:
  • Screen and select empathic and qualified in-language doctors (e.g. forums, embassy lists, expats groups etc.) in line with TripMedic quality standard

  • Contact the selected doctors through phone calls to expose and propose the TripMedic service and set a face-to-face meeting.

  • Explain in details how TripMedic works (e.g. agenda management, prices, fees); check quality of the structure (private studio/clinic); create a more personal relation with the doctor and check is professionality and language knowledge; finalize the agreement

  • Upload all the Key standard informations collected in the visit on TripMedic CRM systems

  • Reach all the agreed KPI’s

  • Create and Mantain a personal relation with new and existing Doctors based on trust! 

Minimum experience, education & skill requirements:
  • Mandatory: Fluency in English; multilingualism is a plus

  • Strong communication and presentation skills 

  • Passion in understanding multiple business models

  • Be interested on learning about European and International doctors' profiles, cultural differences and professional behaviors
  • Ability to handle sales script on the phone

  • Good social skills both by phone and in 1 to 1 meetings. 

  • Attention to detail and good organisational skills

  • Team spirit
