Description

Basic Function
To help and support the Chef De Rang and Restaurant Manager to an all round high standard of service of food and beverage.

Duties and Responsibilities
At start of each shift report to the Restaurant Manager to receive your assigned tasks.

Morning duties:
• Clear and fill service stations with required items, eg. cutlery, linen,…
• Cleaning (Mastic) of the material
• Help with the set-up of the restaurant/banquet tables, service material, etc.

Service:
• Breakfast service
• Prepare butter dishes, crudities sets, bread basket
• Collect orders from kitchen as instructed by Chef De Rang or Management
• Help with service, clearing of tables and table re-setting

Room Service
• ‘Mise en place’ for the different services
• Taking down the orders of the guest, giving them the necessary information concerning the dishes and wines
• Service of the different orders in the guest rooms
• Helping with the set-up of the Executive Lounge

Banqueting
• Match the hotel to customer’s objectives and profile for event as well as their budget.
• Check all meeting rooms before, during and after events
• Assist the banqueting manager in his daily tasks
